My Headband Movers Review: Exceptional Moving Services in Boulder County & Denver

By Kate Paulin · Realtor, Real Estate Broker Associate at eXp Realty

This is my personal review of Headband Movers, the company I recently used for a move, and honestly, I cannot say enough good things about them. If you are planning a move anywhere in Boulder County or the Denver area, this is the crew you want on your side. They are veteran-owned, they are kind, and they treat your stuff like it is their own.

A moving company worth bragging about

Some of you may know them as Nest 2 Nest Moving. After a merger, they now operate as Headband Trucking, but to everyone moving through Longmont and the Front Range they are simply Headband Movers, and they have earned every bit of their reputation. The owner, James, is a veteran who built this company on discipline, respect, and doing things right. He and his whole staff are amazing to work with, start to finish.

What impressed me first was the estimate. It was right on target from day one, and there were no hidden charges on the final bill. What they quoted is what I paid, which in this business is saying a lot. Everything happened in a timely manner, too. No waiting around, no surprises, no last-minute phone calls about "extras."

Guard rails on everything, so nothing gets scuffed

The crew I had was Wan and Marc, and I was really impressed with both of them. They were efficient from the moment they walked in, and they took care of every piece like it was fragile art. One detail I loved: they use guard rails on everything. Doorways, corners, edges of furniture, you name it. Nothing gets scuffed, nothing gets bumped, nothing gets damaged.

If you have ever moved before, you know that is rare. Most of us have a story about a scratched hardwood floor or a dented appliance. My hardwood floors are important to me, and I did not worry once. That kind of care is why I would choose them every single time.

Why this matters if you're moving in or around Longmont

As a Realtor who has been selling since 1993, I see moves happen all the time, especially in the Prospect neighborhood of Longmont where I am currently listing the end unit at 2017 100 Year Party Ct #3. Moving into a home like this, with its 15-foot ceilings, open floor plan, and well-loved hardwood floors, deserves a team that will bring your furniture through the door as carefully as it was built. Headband Movers is that team.

Whether you are moving across town, across Boulder County, or down to Denver, the same things matter: an honest price, a punctual crew, and furniture that arrives exactly as it left. That is exactly what you get with James, Wan, Marc, and everyone at Headband Movers. They understand that a move is more than boxes and trucks, it is your home, and they protect it like it is theirs.
